Powerball tickets to be sold in California starting in April ( FINALLY)

The California Lottery Commission voted unanimously Thursday morning to bring the popular Powerball game to California, lottery officials said. Ticket sales will begin in April.

The commission believes adding the Powerball game, which has a starting jackpot of $40 million, could net the state between $90 million and $120 million annually in lottery revenue, according to a memo sent by Lottery Commissioner Robert O'Neill to other commission members.

 

Lindsay Lohan Charged in June car Crash! TWO in one day!

This chick is settting a record.. Arrested in NYC this monirng and charged with lying to the cops in june.

Just hours after actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested at a Manhattan nightclub for allegedly assaulting another patron, Santa Monica police confirmed that the 26-year-old will be charged in connection with a June crash on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Lohan's black Porsche 911 was involved in a crash with dump truck on June 8 in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway. Lohan was in the vehicle with one other person, and circumstances surrounding the crash have been under investigation -- including who was driving the Porsche at the time of the crash.

"During the subsequent investigation, information was developed that Lohan was the driver of the Porsche when the accident occurred," police said in a news release.

Lohan was charged with willfully resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer in the course of their duties; providing false information to a peace officer; and reckless driving, according to police.

Jeff Zucker will join CNN Worldwide as president of the multi-platform global news enterprise, it was announced today by Phil Kent, chairman and CEO of CNN parent company Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.  In January 2013, Zucker will assume executive oversight of a portfolio of 23 branded news and information businesses that includes CNN/U.S., CNN International, CNN.com and HLN and reaches more than 2 billion people in some 200 countries around the world.  Zucker will report to Kent and will be based at CNN in New York.
