Two adult children decided to sue their mom over "bad mothering." The children, who are now 23 and 20, began their lawsuit two years ago. They had been raised by their father, Steven Miner (a lawyer), and are seeking upwards of $50,000 in compensation for their suffering.
However, it is important to note that these children lead a rather blessed life by most people's standards. Some of the examples they used as proof of "bad mothering" was refusing "to take her daughter to a car show," not buying toys, giving a birthday card with the image of tomatoes on it, making her then-7-year-old son wear his seat belt, not sending college "care packages", "haggling" over the cost of dresses and checking in on her daughter at midnight when the girl was out.
