All My Children' to Air Final Episode on Sept. 23

ABC has scheduled the final airdate for one of its two canceled soaps.

All My Children, which was given the axe earlier this year, wll broadcast its final episode on Friday, Sept. 23, the network announced Thursday.

Many actors who got their starts on the long-running daytime soap have signed on to return to Pine Valley, including Josh Duhamel, Eva La Rue, Thorsten Kaye, Carol Burnett, Kate Collins, Jennifer Bassey, Melissa Claire Egan and Leven Rambin. Others returning to the hourlong have yet to be announced.

According to ABC, "the final episodes will celebrate the stories of the familities that fans have grown to know and love over the years."

Christina Aguilera will return for season 2 of The Voice, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed

She makes $225,000 per episode, as THR revealed in a cover storyearlier this month. Fellow coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Greenand Blake Shelton make about $75,000 each.

Levine told THR Wednesday that he hopes to return as well: "If they’ll have me, I’d be delighted to be back."

A Louisiana politician admitted to sending a picture of himself in his underwear to a city employee, theNew Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

"I had an inappropriate but consensual relation (sic) with an adult female and we exchanged improper electronic communications which ended (in) 2009," Kenner City, La. City Councilman Joe Stagni said in a statement.

According to location station Fox 8:

Stagni sent the picture via text message to a Kenner employee back in 2009. That text message was forwarded through Kenner's email system to at least one other employee.

WWL.com reports that the Republican local official didn't mean for the image in question to turn up a city computer server.
