OWN, her two-month-old channel, is attracting fewer viewers than the obscure channel it replaced, Discovery Health. At any given time this month, there have been about 135,000 people watching OWN, according to the Nielsen Company, and only about 45,000 of those people are women ages 25 to 54, the demographic that the channel is focusing on.

So its ALL about young folks -young folks. and tweens..but 73 million baby boomers have moved into the market and hollywood acts like they dont exist.. umm..they are the ones who can actually afford to buy a ticket.. all the big movies had no CGI..No Special FX..and were successful with real acting..directing and a real Storyline..

Yes..No Kartrashina skanks- Hilton twats- jersey shore antics or Lohan Klepto's..were around last night...

Sunday's 83rd Academy Awards telecast, with a hosting duo of James Franco and Anne Hathaway that was drubbed by many critics, scored a 24.6 household rating in the top 56 TV markets, according to early figures from the Nielsen Co. The ceremony, which awarded the best picture prize to "The King's Speech," was off 7% compared with last year but slipped just 2% among viewers age 18 to 49.
