Not screenwriters Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, who have been hired by Paramount to write the screenplay for the studio’s feature adaptation of “Baywatch.”

Yes, that’s Gatewood and Tanaka at right, who couldn’t possibly look more like exactly the guys you’d want writing a “Baywatch” movie.

The studio is looking to push the project forward to a summer 2011 release.

THE GUY WHO BEAT UP HIS QUADRUPLE AMPUTEE GIRLFRIEND SAYS SHE STARTED IT BY PUNCHING HIM IN THE GROIN WITH HER NUB

Last week, 33-year-old Jacoby Smith of St. Paul, Minnesota, got into a fight with his QUADRUPLE AMPUTEE girlfriend, 28-year-old Tiesha Bell. 


Jacoby said Tiesha was blocking his view of the TV, so he threw her to the floor, punched her in the face over ten times, and wouldn't let her call 911.  Keep in mind:  Tiesha had both hands and part of both legs amputated because of a childhood illness.

But now Jacoby claims Tiesha's the one who started the fight . . . by punching him in the groin with one of her nubs.  And it all started with an argument about how she was CHEATING ON HIM.

Jacoby says, quote, "I had been dealing with her cheating on me.  I turned on the TV and she got mad.  She punched me in the groin . . . I hit her once and that was it.  Maybe twice."

He also says Tiesha hit him with a coffee canister, her wheelchair, and a bedpan full of URINE.  Which apparently isn't that uncommon in their relationship.  As Jacoby puts it, quote, "She'll swing, push me down and choke me with her nubs."

Anyway, Jacoby's been charged with fifth-degree assault and interfering with a 911 call.  If he's convicted, he could get up to 15 months in jail.  But Tiesha doesn't want that to happen, because she's in love with Jacoby and wants to marry him.  (???) 

Jacoby is expected to turn himself in to the police later this week.  (--And you thought YOUR relationship was messed up.

A WOMAN IN SOUTH CAROLINA WAS RUNNING A STRIP CLUB FOR UNDERAGE BOYS OUT OF HER MOBILE HOME

Now it's time to recognize our Idiot Criminal of the Day . . . 27-year-old Gwendolyn Lowery of Chesterfield, South Carolina (in the southern part of the state).

Last week, authorities were given a flyer advertising an illegal STRIP CLUB Gwendolyn was running out of her mobile home.

And when officers raided her trailer on Sunday, they found about 20 boys . . . all between the ages of 12 and 19 . . . sitting around a stripper pole in Gwendolyn's 'living room.'

Apparently, Gwendolyn had been serving alcohol to minors, and she kept a price list of the various services she provided, including lap dances for $5. 

Long story short, Gwendolyn was arrested and charged with violating state liquor laws, as well as eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors.  If she's convicted, she could get up to 24 years in prison.
