Now it's time to recognize our Idiot Criminal of the Day . . . 31-year-old Claudia De La Rosa of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (--just north of Miami).
On Wednesday, Claudia showed up late for work, delaying her unidentified boss who was trying to catch a flight to Honduras.
So, in order to make sure her boss didn't miss his flight, Claudia called in a BOMB THREAT to Miami International Airport, and said that there was an explosive on the American Airlines plane her boss was supposed to take.
The flight was delayed while police officers searched the plane and, once they were certain it was safe, the plane was finally allowed to take off.
On Thanksgiving, Claudia was arrested and charged with making a false report of planting a bomb. It's unclear whether her boss made the flight.
