DINNER FOR ONE.. A CLASSIC piece of comic genius! ENJOY and Happy New Year!

'DINNER FOR ONE' starring British comedian Freddie Frinton is a cult classic in Germany and across various European countries -- shown every New Year's Eve. Yet still remains relatively unknown to British audiences. A lonely upper-class Englishwoman, Miss Sophie (May Warden), hosts a dinner every New Year's Eve for her long-dead admirers: Mr Pommeroy, Mr Winterbottom, Sir Toby and Admiral von Schneider. Her butler, James (Freddie Frinton), makes his way around the table playing each of the guests in turn. As he does so, he drinks each guest's share of the wine, becoming more inebriated and familiar and repeatedly trips over a tiger skin on the floor. The vital exchange is: "The same procedure as last year, Miss Sophie?" "The same procedure as every year, James!"

Kevin Bacon and his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, are among the many victims of the $50 billion Ponzi scheme run by disgraced investor Bernard Madoff, Bacon's publicist confirmed Tuesday.

How much money the two lost was not known Tuesday.

Bacon and Sedgwick join the ranks of other Hollywood victims like Steven Spielberg and Eric Roth, writer of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," who had money invested with Madoff.

These are Comedy Central; CMT: Pure Country; Logo; Palladia; MTV; MTV 2; MTV Hits; MTV Jams; MTV Tr3s; Nickelodeon; Noggin; Nick 2; Nicktoons; Spike; The N; TV Land; Vh1; Vh1 Classic; Vh1 Soul. Quite a big audience.

The outage will affect those in major markets, including Raleigh, Orange County, Los Angeles, and New York City.

DETAILS are finally emerging about Steven Soderbergh's latest folly, "Cleo," the bizarre 3D musical about Cleopatra he's planning with Hugh Jackman and Catherine Zeta-Jones. "Our version [of the Cleopatra story] will be like an Elvis musical in 3D. It's a total rock 'n' roll, 1966 aesthetic - like 'Viva Las Vegas' meets 'Tommy,' " Soderbergh tells Britain's Independent. "I've wanted my whole career to make a musical. And the 3D makes it more challenging but makes it more fun."
