WASHINGTON – Sarah Palin's new book reprises familiar claims from the 2008 presidential campaign that haven't become any truer over time.

Ignoring substantial parts of her record if not the facts, she depicts herself as a frugal traveler on the taxpayer's dime, a reformer without ties to powerful interests and a politician roguishly indifferent to high ambition.

Palin goes adrift, at times, on more contemporary issues, too. She criticizes President Barack Obama for pushing through a bailout package that actually was achieved by his Republican predecessor George W. Bush — a package she seemed to support at the time.

Jon Gosselin argues he's too famous to get a real job

Recently released court papers reveal that Jon Gosselin may be the first person ever to plead “famous.”

Documents from Gosselin’s recently filed contract lawsuit against "Jon & Kate Plus 8" network TLC itemize the octodad’s issues in his own words, reports RadarOnline.

In an affidavit, Gosselin states, “Now, I find myself unemployed and without the ability to secure non-entertainment related engagements because the enormous Media interest, cameras, reporters and public interest makes it impossible to carry on normal daily activities, let alone find, secure and maintain a job with an employer who is willing to be exposed to the daily Media intrusions that has impeded by life."

Forget Lady Gaga's "Disco Stick." Levi Johnston's wielded a hockey stick in his much-anticipated Playgirl photo shoot Thursday, his manager confirms to Usmagazine.com.

"The shoot was fantastic!" Johnston's manager, Tank Jones, tells Us of Johnston's New York session, adding that the nude model wasn't nervous in the slightest.

"We're having a lot of fun with it," Jones teases.

how much did Bristol Palin's hockey-playing ex reveal? "People are going to see more of Levi than they thought," Jones tells Us. "There was a hockey stick involved."

The fun's not over, either: a second photo session takes place Friday. "Part two is going to be fantastic. That's all I can say."

OMAROSA IS RETURNING TO REALITY TV WITH DONALD TRUMP

Last we heard, "Apprentice" villain OMAROSA was leaving trashy reality shows to become a member of the CLERGY.  Seriously . . . she is enrolled in a ministry studies program at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

But that doesn't mean she's taking a break from dating . . . and she's asking DONALD TRUMP to help her find a man.  On TV, of course.

Together, they're developing a reality dating show called "Omarosa's Ultimate Merger" . . . where Omarosa will choose between 12 suitors, "Bachelor" style.

Trump will produce the show, and make occasional appearances.  It'll air on cable's TV One network.  There's no word yet on when it might premiere.

In the book . . . and in several of her TV appearances, Carrie has accused DONALD TRUMP of conducting a HUMILIATING exercise before the Miss USA pageant separating the girls into two groups:  Those he found attractive and those he didn't.

Well, Trump isn't taking it lying down.  He released the following statement yesterday . . . quote, "Carrie should be ashamed of herself.  Certainly I would never do a thing like that, because it would be too hurtful . . .

"It was total nonsense it was fiction in her imagination . . . I don't even know how she came up with an idea like that.  She should not have written that in the book.

"She's trying to act like she's a nun so maybe she should release [her] sex tape and people would see whether or not she is a nun."

He added, quote, "She's trying to sell a book.  She's doing the best she can I can't imagine too many people would be interested in it, but you never know what sells these days."

A&E: Reality show about Jacksons premieres Dec. 13! ( grab your puke bucket)

Yes we get to watch a reality show where the Jacksons grapple with the sudden spotlight thrown on them again...They will wear matching outfits..Jermaine's voice will get higher- Latoya will make milkshakes- and they will milk their brothers death for every ounce of dram they can... OY!

NEW YORK (AP) - The A&E; cable network says a reality miniseries about Michael Jackson's family will premiere Dec. 13.

 Titled "The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty," the series focuses on brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon as they prepare to reunite for a concert tour. It also chronicles their lives as they cope with Michael's drug-induced death in June.

Back-to-back hour episodes will air that night at 9 p.m. EST. There will be six episodes, the network says.

It remains unclear whether Michael Jackson, or his children, will appear in the series.

The cable network had originally announced the show as a documentary special in May, before the star's death.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ―Court records show Michael Jackson's father is seeking an allowance from his son's estate.

An attorney for Joe Jackson filed papers in Los Angeles on Friday seeking a stipend, saying there was no apparent reason for the administrators of the estate to not seek an allowance for the 81-year-old family patriarch.

Michael Jackson's 2002 will, however, only called for money to be paid to his mother, Katherine, his three young children, and various charities.

A judge has approved more than $26,000 in payments to Katherine Jackson each month, and a $60,000 monthly payment for the care of the children.
