The Hoff is saying goodbye to America’s Got Talent after four years as a judge with Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne.
HIS STATEMENT:
“I am proud that I was part of making America’s Got Talent the No. 1 rated show for the past four summers. It’s been a rewarding experience and now I’m thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly.”
NBC sources say that they will be looking for a new judge to fill Hasselhoff’s seat when the show resumes next summer for the fifth season, but no names have been cited as potential replacements.

Siegfried Fischbacher is quoted in Tuesday's edition of the German magazine Neues Blatt as saying, "Roy and I miss our audience. But there will not be a comeback."
Siegfried said that his partner, Roy Horn, who was mauled by a white tiger during a 2003 performance at the Mirage in Las Vegas, still is battling the long-term effects of the attack.
"It is a miracle that he can stand on his own feet again and enjoy life," Siegfried said of Roy, who is partially paralyzed.
The two performers, who are originally from Germany and live in Las Vegas, are getting used to their new life as retirees.
"We like it," Siegfried said.
It is not known what will become of the duo's menagerie of animals, which currently reside at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage.

Redmond O’Neal was arrested again on drug charges while on a 24-hour pass from drug rehab.
The son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal was taken into custody on Dec. 29 on a felony charge. He is in court Tuesday for a status update on his rehab. Now he’s facing up to six years in prison because his latest arrest violates probation terms of a previous drug offense.
Redmond had been clean for six months after battling drug problems for years.
When Redmond returned to Impact, a drug and alcohol treatment center, after his 24-hour pass, the staff noticed he seemed altered. This was his first pass out of the facility.

Joan Rivers was none too happy about situation and claims she was “held hostage” by airport security in Costa Rica, TMZ reports.
The debacle began after an airport official noticed Joan’s passport read “Joan Rosenberg AKA Joan Rivers.”
According to TMZ, Joan claimed she tried explaining her late husband’s name was Ed Rosenberg. The official did not buy the story, however, and gave away her seat on the flight to Newark.
Police were called to the scene, but Joan never got her seat back.
Joan claims she was forced to stay in a hotel overnight, and the passport situation was ultimately resolved this morning when Joan boarded a Newark-bound plane.
