Nick Cannon to host “America’s Got Talent” ( it pays to know Mariah)

NickCANNON has signed on to host NBC’s variety talent competition America’s Got Talent following former host Jerry Springer’s announcement that he won’t be back for the show’s fourth season.

“I’m thrilled to be working with NBC,” Nick says of his new job, adding that those at the network “understand my vision as not only an entertainer but as a creative show producer.” “I look forward to working with the network and their executive team on America’s Got Talent and other shows to come.”

Nick, 28, got his big break while still a teen on the Nickelodeon series All That. He then starred in his own MTV series, Nick Cannon Presents Wild’n Out. He is also an accomplished rapper.
